Appreciating the Small Things

People, including us, come to the Sea of Cortez to see the BIG animals: whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, mantas, mobulas, marlin, tuna, whales, sea lions. This trip did not dazzle us with the big stuff, but we were amazed to discover the little things. The Sea of Cortez offers an amazing diversity and abundance of life, and our divers new and old were in awe of what they discovered. It was a great reminder to slow down and take time to appreciate the small things in life. Here is a look at some of what we found beneath the waters of La Paz:
