With our clinic work complete, the day was filled with variety. A small team went out to a fishing community for a survey while back on campus a group spent time with special needs kids. A few other students taught a couple final science classes. Environmental research, medical missions, and science education were in full effect. With a good week of work and service complete, we treated ourselves to a picnic lunch at one of the local historical monuments - Fort Liberte. First built in the 1700s, this historical site is mostly ruins at this point, but it sits on a beautiful bay making for a nice place for a little relaxation and reflection. This team deserves it!
