Today our students got right into their work at Danitas pediatric medical clinic. We have set up three teams of students and professors in the clinic, including a group taking malnutrition metrics on children coming into the clinic, a group addressing malnutrition with children and mothers, and a group providing some education and resources on personal hygiene practices. Students are having a great time of serving, helping and learning in the clinic. Drs. Narita and Roberts are doing a tremendous job of instruction for these students, teaching them brand new skills and concepts that they will take with them as they continue in their health studies and careers.
